Applications: MOLALUM® Z5 is widely used in topical pharmaceutical formulations as an antiperspirant active ingredient to reduce excessive sweating by forming temporary plugs in the sweat ducts. It is widely incorporated into medicated antiperspirant creams, gels, roll-ons, sticks, sprays and topical solutions for the management of hyperhidrosis. Its use helps provide long-lasting sweat control and body odor reduction.

(A) It gives the reaction of chloride.
3 pH Between 3.0 and 5.0.
4 Arsenic Not more than 2 μg per g.
5 Limit of iron Not more than 150 μg per g.
6 Content of aluminum Specified Test.
7 Content of zirconium Specified Test.
8 Aluminum/zirconium atomic ratio The ratio is between 6.0:1 and 10.0:1.
9 Content of chloride Specified Test.
10 Aluminum plus zirconium)/chloride atomic ratio. The ratio is between 2.1:1 and 1.51:1
11 Assay Not less than 90.0 % and not more than 110.0 % of the labeled amount of anhydrous aluminum zirconium pentachlorohydrate.

PACKAGING

MOLALUM® Z5 is packed in HDPE drum or IBC packing having bar-coded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 5 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
